Our Rookie Year Selling On FBA

I've seen so much information and different opinions on selling through FBA (Fulfilment By Amazon) on multiple platforms and from the research I conducted. Everyone had quite a wide range of differences, but the few main concerns are finding products and the right niche. Personally, I haven't really felt like the niche is the way forward for me at this time but I'm not ruling out anything later on in AMATs future because I believe AMAT Culture Ltd has a bright future.

Finding Products

100% the most ball ache of Amazon FBA! Scrolling through endless amounts of wholesalers and websites that have clearances to find the products that you could make a little profit off. I am using this method because I believe this is the best way for someone like myself and my wonderful fiancee. I am seeing this method work as we have consecutive days of selling units, now I understand people will see £1000 to £5000 a month in sales (remember sales is not your take home) all over platforms but unless you have the capital I can't see how you can make that work without taking a huge risk in buying a product that can make that. Myself and Amelia started with a complete buy-in of products, packaging and other consumables like labels which set us back roughly £300.

Our First Week Selling On FBA

As you can see from the graph below this is our first week. I personally believe that we have SMASHED it. I know it isn't £1000 sales a month but if I'm honest with you as long as we are making steps forward I don't really care how long it takes us. I know for a FACT that the foundations that Amelia and I have set are stronger than Tungsten. I won't lie though we have our problems starting the business like trying to find the right labels as the description on Amazon's website never dictates that we were better off getting A4 sheet labels and having 2 labels on each A4. If we had known that before we could have had our products at amazon a lot sooner but it's a mistake and I will be making a lot of them as learn the steep learning curve that is Amazon FBA.

17 Units sold in 7 days is impressive for someone like me. Now I'm not trying to get pity or sympathy but I've always been told either "You ain't shit" or "you'll never be anything". Now telling a kid that, NO MATTER what they have done is probably a harsher punishment than actually smacking them with a belt like my old man had done to him a few times if he got naughty. If you don't believe me ask someone who went to school before 1970/80 and I bet they say the same.

If I have still been able to keep your attention then great thank you for reading through. I've always thought I can never write creative but this blog helps plus the fact in the last couple of years I've been trying to be more creative.

I look forward to seeing our fans in the future and speaking to you all!
