CAR BOOT BONANZA 🚗🥾

There is always a bargain to be found...💎💎💎

A little history about myself and my car boots. I always remember when I was younger my dad loved car boot, we all have memories whether good or bad of our parents but the best ones I have had with my dad is of car boots and other events alike. I learned all my bartering skills from watching him, I'd never tell him this but the reason I'm good at anything to do with bartering and getting deals is because of watching him. My dad wasn't a great teacher but that is not his fault, he didn't have the best upbringing, so he has never been shown or lived with a father who has done what he has done for me, whether he knew what he was doing or not.

We always went to these car boots, our main options in my area are a large one at Swallowfield and a one that used to be large, but I don't think it is as big as it used to be, to be honest probably not worth the time it would take to get there.

First time in a few years

I finally got the balls to travel 2 hours to a car boot near north London. My friend joined me on our crusade, we had one plan, get there on the opening of the doors which was 8am, we wanted first pick of the last car boot for the year as the season has ended now. Everyone there was selling some cracking gems. I missed out on a great buy I couldn't get there quick enough, Thomas the Tank Engine carriages, 3 in a box, and there were 4 of them, I know for a fact that would have been a quick sell and for a hefty profit, he paid £15 for the lot he can easily double or triple it. I also saw on the stall some Airfix build your own planes like old World War 1 & 2 planes. These are very popular at the moment, I was able to get my hands on about 6 various ones which are on sale on eBay, go check them out.

No rain, a great atmosphere, and complete knob heads. Now a little bit of perspective, I am not fond of joe public, most people annoy me with their disgraceful attitudes and mannerisms, if you hold the door for someone or wait so they can come through you should at least say thank you, I'm not asking for you to get on your hands and knees and kiss my feet, just a lovely thanks would be more than sufficient. So when I say people are moving like fucking loonies, trying to get to stalls quickly and efficiently, I had a couple arguments over people pushing in front of me at a stall like FUCK OFF.

My Gems

I found some beautiful gems. loads of corgi old school cars like an original corgi day have gone model t ford 1912. We also found some great old magazines from 1920, or plane building kits, one plane kit with paints which is selling for a beautiful profit. But the BARGAIN of the DAY, my friend josh found the best deal
I personally feel was on offer, he found Thomas the tank engine glasses which we thought were all James and well we had a lovely surprise to find 12 Thomas glasses. After we heard the owner of the stall said once it rains, they are shut and going home, and this was like 8:30am. He was able to get a bargain on these, the James glasses I have up for £9 each and Thomas up for £15 which is reasonable as I have paid the £4 postage. How much do you reckon he got 30 ish of them...£5 for the fucking lot. I swear I am not lying, swear to God cross my heart and hope to die! £5 for the lot was easily the best bargain because he bartered the deal. If they do sell well like we think they will then of course hell get a finder's fee cut even though he says he doesn't want one
