Where Have We Been?!

It's been a while! 

Wow, we've not posted a blog for nearly a week now which isn't like us! It's just been a hectic week and we didn't have much time to type one up but let me update you on our week 😊

I've been working on the weekends recently so trying to cram in work, AMAT Culture work and seeing friends and family has been quite difficult. On Saturday we had to go and get a food shop done as we had literally nothing in the house. Matt hates food shopping but I LOVE it! Love picking out what fresh fruit and veg we're going to have, I like having a mooch around to get new meal ideas or snack ideas. I'm also really picky with chicken so going into a shop and picking a decent looking pack of chicken breasts is a must for me. Don't get me wrong, online food deliveries are great if you don't have the time or can't get out but I don't like that you can't look at the products and choose which one you want. 

Matt and I have a deal, I go in and do the food shopping and Matt stays outside, get's us a coffee from Starbucks and meets me in the shop when I'm loading up the conveyor belt to start packing. It's ideal for us! 

Sunday

Sunday was a busy day! I was working 9-5 but we had our friends Josh and Libby coming 'round for dinner and to chill with us. I get an hour break each day at work so in my second half hour break I started dinner to make sure it was done for when they got here. We had enchiladas😋 They were so nice and had quite a kick to them but I love soured cream with dinners like this so piled it on haha! Josh and Libby brought the pudding and we have apple crumble and another salted caramel, apple sticky cake pudding thing but they were amazing. Of course the football was on (when is it not these days) so the boys were engrossed in that, especially as Josh is a Manchester United supporter and they were playing. 

Monday Night Football

Matt has recently joined a five-a-side team with Josh! Josh has played with the team for quite a while I think I'm not sure but has been bugging Matt to join them for ages. Matt plays in goal so has to be quite quick on his feet and have great reactions! Yesterday was the second time he's played and he's doing great! I've never watched Matt play any sport so I want to go and support and watch as much as I can. It's actually a lot of fun! All the guys that play on the team are really nice and friendly and I get to be a little background cheerleader for Matt. It was a tricky game yesterday as the team they were playing were apparently really good and won the league last year. Although Matt and his team lost to them yesterday, they did so well and played a lot better than they did last week!

Today

Today is my day off, thankfully! I've just put dinner on, we're having beef casserole, so that can low and slow it all day so by the time it gets to dinner, it will be beautiful. I'm going to try and get some cleaning done and some AMAT Culture work done but I also think I'm going to treat myself to a bath later which I can't wait for. 

The all important question...bubble bath or a bath bomb?!
