THE DREAM JOB
The 5-Year Plan
The opportunities are endless!
The dream job was the end product of my 5-year plan. My 5-year plan started with a company that enrolled me on an apprenticeship in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning & Heat Pumps Level 3 NVQ diploma, now that course would last 3 years. At this moment in time, I am currently just finished my second year and completed my portfolio which let me tell you was a fucking hassle, a serious faff, the portfolio doesn't really show you can do things they can be easily changed to suit the needs you need for it but it never shows as an engineer if you can solve some serious and critical puzzles but that's why we do it.
My dream job is working for a company called Johnson Controls. This company I believe has some completely incredible opportunities that can come within this industry. I get to work on critical systems all over the country and eventually all over the world. When I put my mind to something I can do it, when I get solid knowledge and diagnose issues efficiently on my own then I will consider doing work around the world while taking amelia with me. With a few bits of paperwork and some visas I could be going to work for 3 months in any country, Johnson Controls is a global powerhouse in this industry and if you look on their website they have jobs around the world all the time being updated. The opportunities are endless with Johnson Controls and I can not wait to see what I can achieve.
I've told you the start and the end of my 5-year plan but what I haven't told you is it has come 3 years early, who would have thought but if I'm honest I got in on the merits I have, he hired me at my original company. I was his first hire from start to finish, I owe him a lot, more than I can ever show. I didn't have hope in hell when I was 20 no clue what goals to work towards. I found the love of this by maturing and getting passionate about puzzle solving and I am officially addicted. The notification you can get is amazing share you don't even need someone to acknowledge it because you know the problem wouldn't be fixed without your input.
My role will be HVAC Technician with my new job, a proper extravagant title but does change that every day is a school day. If you are learning every day then you are stagnant and if I'm honest I hate the feeling and messes with the balance of my mind.
I look forward to the future and if you want to hear about college and the mess that it was then write a comment and if its a popular option ill explain more
